This painting was a challenge because the photo I worked from was taken on one of the rare overcast days we have in Colorado. So I decided to go with the flow and emphasize the lack of color. The pink in the ear is muted too but still works like a splash of color. This is a 6 x 6 inch oil painting. I framed it in a white barn wood style frame.
