The clouds over the western plains are spectacular at sunset. Painting them is quite a challenge. There are so many colors that seem to layer over each other creating subtle shifts in value. Young Jackrabbit Drawing

I've been wanting to start working on sculptures of jackrabbits. I thought a good beginning would be to do some drawings. Drawing helps you see how every part relates. This is a young jackrabbit (sort of a teenager) that was hanging around our house this summer — 7.5 x 10 charcoal drawing on paper.
